Leadership & Opportunity

The Progressive Tribal Alliance works to ensure Native representation and create new pathways to civic leadership, business opportunity, and a stronger future for our communities.

Building A Stronger Future

The Progressive Tribal Alliance believes Native representation must extend beyond cultural events. Native people should have a meaningful voice in the decisions, institutions, businesses, and opportunities that affect our communities. PTA works with local governments, schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, financial institutions, and community partners to increase Native participation and create new pathways to leadership and opportunity.

Our work includes advocating for Native representation in public spaces, supporting Native entrepreneurs and community leaders, developing educational partnerships, and connecting our community with information about financial literacy, clean energy, technology, employment, and economic opportunity. We also work to build partnerships that recognize the value of Native knowledge, experience, and leadership.
